wayvee hair launched in 2024 after founder Bianca Bartolo finally threw in the microfibre towel and picked up the linen one. After many years personally testing every curly product and method under the sun, wayvee entered the chat to send a message to curly hair cuties everywhere that it’s cool to be wavy, in every sense of the word.

Insight:
“I founded wayvee out of a genuine need for a curly alternative to hair accessories clearly not designed with waves and texture in mind. I also wanted something that looked cute in my bathroom and wouldn’t introduce unnecessary waste into the world. We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure our products are as sustainable as possible, producing everything with local makers and using innovative materials, like our bioresin buttons."

Idea: We’re so sick of normal. Of typical, of standard. In fact, we think our kooky kinks are kind of our best feature. So here we are, a beauty brand dedicated to the frizz. The fluff. The texture. To the wonderfully wavy folk who know that hair isn’t something to be tamed. The ones who believe that confidence can be cultivated. Noise can be tuned out. Freedom can be felt.
